Ready to hit a home run this winter? Join us at Grand Slam U, where young athletes in 2nd through 8th grade get the chance to learn, grow, and most importantly—have fun! Whether you're a rookie or a seasoned player, Grand Slam U is designed to help you improve your skills while making new friends and memories on the field.

What to Expect:
- Skills & Drills: With fun and interactive drills, we'll teach you everything you need to know to elevate your game. You’ll work on proper techniques, team strategies, and even learn some cool tricks!
- Games & Competitions: Show off your new skills in friendly games and exciting competitions. Whether it’s a team relay race or a home run derby, there’s something for everyone!
- Teamwork & Sportsmanship: At Grand Slam U, we believe baseball is all about teamwork. We’ll encourage you to support your teammates, celebrate victories together, and handle challenges with a positive attitude.

This program is open to both boys & girls in 2nd-8th grade.

Taste of Cultures

Taste of Cultures

Come join us for the new Taste of Cultures experience at the Boys & Girls Club! This program provides kids an opportunity to learn and experience food dishes from a variety of countries around the world. From caprese salad skewers from Italy, to butter chicken from India, our members will learn both the rich history and taste of these foods first hand!

LAX 101

Ever wanted to learn the basics of America’s fastest-growing sport, taught by a true Ridgefield Tiger Legend? Now you can! In Lacrosse 101, taught by RHS Lacrosse Alumni, former Springfield College Lacrosse player, and our current Program Manager Tim Cozens, players will have the opportunity to learn how to pass, catch, shoot and play the sport of lacrosse in a fun and laid back setting! All you need is a stick, no extra equipment is necessary! Don’t have a lacrosse stick? Not a problem, Coach Tim has one you can borrow! LAX 101 is open to boys and girls in 1st-5th grade.

Engineers in Action

The Engineers in Action Program at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield is designed for 3rd to 8th graders to explore the intersection of physics and engineering. Kids will engage in exciting projects that encourage problem solving through creativity. In this hands-on program, kids will use physics, critical thinking, and a variety of materials to overcome real-world challenges surrounding the world of engineering. This program will allow all kids to learn new skills, work in teams, and have fun!
