Fanery grew up in Danbury, CT, earning her diploma from New Milford High School. She then attended Western Connecticut State University and received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. During her time at WCSU, Fanery worked as an intern at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield. This is where her love for the Club began.

Before her time working at BGCR, Fanery worked as a Project Director at Danbury Youth Services, helping the youth of the community develop social skills and provide them with academic and emotional support. This experience opened her eyes to the other opportunities that were available in working with youth. After completing her internship with the Boys & Girls Club, Fanery started a career with Family & Children's Aid of Danbury. However, after 3 years away from the Club, she returned as part of the Full Time Professional Staff as the Before School Program Coordinator. Fanery now oversees our Before School Program from 7AM-9AM, and then assists in program development and member services throughout the day.

In her free time, Fanery enjoys spending time with her two kids, dancing, going to the gym, and listening to music. Fanery loves being a part of the Club family and looks forward to seeing our members smiling faces every day.
