Codebreakers

Tuesdays 4:45-6:00pm

 Age Group: 4th to 8th Grade

Interested in coding and game design? Well then jump into our Codebreakers program! During this 6 week program, participants will learn the basics of coding, and then utilize these skills to create and design their own computer games. As a finale, participants will have the opportunity to play the games designed by their peers!

Codebreakers will run every Tuesday from 4:45pm-6:00pm in the Boys & Girls Club's Technology Cafe. Program runs from October 29th-December 10th. Codebreakers will NOT run on Tuesday November 5th.

Fee: $175

Program must have a minimum of 6 registrants to run.

Please note members must bring their own device, either a chromebook or laptop for this program. Devices will not be provided by the Club.

STEAM Team

Wednesdays 4:45pm-6:00pm
(10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11)
Age Group: 3rd-8th Grade

The STEAM Team program at the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield will offer hands-on projects for 3rd  to 8th graders to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The program offers a variety of activities designed to spark creativity and build problem-solving skills. These activities give kids the opportunity to work with their hands, experiment with different materials, and learn how science and engineering come to life in real-world scenarios. This program is all about having fun while discovering new skills!

STEAM Team will run Wednesdays from 4:45pm-6:00pm at the Boys & Girls Club. Program runs from October 30-December 11th. STEAM Team will NOT run on Wednesday November 27th.

Program must have a minimum of 6 registrants to run.

Teeny-Mates

Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:45am-11:30am
(10/29, 10/31, 11/5, 11/7, 11/12, 11/14, 11/19, 11/21, 12/3, 12/5, 12/10, 12/12)
Age Group: 1-3 years old

Teeny-Mates is an exciting new “caregiver and me” program at the Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield for children ages 1-3 years old. This program focuses on fostering creativity and social interaction in an active environment. Activities will range from musical based movement, to age appropriate recreation, sports themed games, and hands-on art fun!

Teeny-Mates will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45am-11:30am at the Boys & Girls Club. Program runs from October 29-December 12th. Teeny-Mates will NOT run on Tuesday November 26th OR Thursday November 28th.

Please note this is NOT a drop off daycare program. Caregivers should expect to attend and be active with their child.

Sandlot Sports Academy

Fridays 4:45-6:00pm
(11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 12/6, 12/13)
Age Group: 1st to 5th Grade

Sandlot Sports Academy is the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield’s answer to today’s over- structured and over-scheduled athlete. Members enjoy the camaraderie of their peer’s during supervised games, while building good sportsmanship skills and self-confidence. Sandlot Sports and Games include Dodgeball, Capture the Flag , Kickball , Tennis Baseball, Soccer, and Pillo Polo!

Sandlot Sports Academy will run every Friday from 4:45pm-6:00pm. Program runs from November 1st-December 13th. Sandlot Sports Academy will NOT run on Friday November 29th.

Program must have a minimum of 6 registrants to run.
